Came out of the house today to see some lovely damage to the rear bumper and quarter panel. Already having a rough week with my apartment flooding Wednesday and now this. Hope y’all are having better weeks than I am

Hopefully doesn’t cost too much to fix. The real issue is my deductible is 1000$ so its right on the border of whether it would be worth it to pay the deductible or just try and get the parts and do it myself

I was looking forward to installing the new driveshaft supports and working on my clownshoe this weekend. Now I just have another thing to add onto the list of cosmetic projects on the 530. Oh well, at least its only cosmetic

Damn. No note? The bastards. I’m not looking forward to the first time my Golf gets hit- it looks pretty beat already, being 22, but there are very few dents in it (and nearly no rust) and I don’t think anyone would leave a note if they hit it, which sucks because straight body panels are kind of hard to find.

Yeah no nothing. Even when I have a car with some blemishes I still always take proper care of it and wash/wax regularly so it sucks for any damage but this was especially upsetting. I’ve noticed a couple light scratches get added before which is still annoying, but i get it. This though, clearly there was a decent impact and they just didn’t give a shit and its just so careless.

My deductible is like 1000 so im not sure if its worth it and I cant really afford that at the moment either. Street parking definitely sucks
